Differdange

Discover the city

This town in the south of Luxembourg has been largely shaped by the steel industry and is locally known as the Steel Town. Nonetheless Differdange has by now transformed into a modern an multicultural city that has a lot to offer.

Surrounded by enchanting forests, it provides visitors with an abundance of nature that can be discovered on foot or by bike. At the same time, Differdange invites you to experience local culture, events, shopping, food and many attractions that allow you to glimpse its vivid industrial history ...

Sense nature

Right within the city center you will find three parks that are only a short walk from our hotel: Gerlache Park, Edmond Dune Park and Chiers Park. Here you can enjoy a stroll, do outdoor sports, read or play with your children. The floral clock at the entrance of Gerlache Park is one of Differdange’s most beloved landmarks and a must for visitors.

By (mountain)bike or on foot you can explore the surrounding landscape, visit the Titelberg and the natural reserve Prënzebierg - Giele Botter or one of the many hiking trails of this region.

The main regional attractions Lasauvage, Fond-de-Gras, the Minettpark with the Train 1900 and the Minièresbunn combine natural beauty and industrial past and are a unique setting for many events throughout the year.
